Golden Warrior Back to School Jamboree

Kick off the new school year in style at the Golden Warrior Back to School Jamboree, Friday, August 20 at Roscoe Eades Stadium and Homer B. Musgrove Fieldhouse. Members of all SHS fall sports teams will be introduced and boys’ soccer, volleyball and football scrimmages will be staged. Click here for a full schedule of events.

SHS Booster Club Golf Challenge

Enjoy a Saturday on the golf course and help support all of the Golden Warrior athletic programs at the same time!  Attention SHS alums, the outing includes a special division just for you.

Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
Date: September 24, 2010

The Fall 2010 Sterling High School Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place Friday, September 24 at Roscoe Eades Stadium before the SHS varsity football game against Sycamore. Those being inducted are the 1982 boys’ cross country team, Marc Gebhardt ’89, Shanon Beelendorf ’04 and Nicole Williams '05.

SSF Homecoming BBQ
Date: September 30, 2010
Time: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Make plans to attend the 2010 Sterling Schools Foundation Homecoming BBQ, Thursday, September 30 at the SHS cul-de-sac.  SSF will be selling delicious bbq pork chop and chicken fillet sandwiches.  Proceeds will benefit various SSF student-support programs, including the A+ Initiative and Bucks for Books.  Lunchtime deliveries will be made to businesses in Sterling and Rock Falls.

2010 Homecoming

SHS’s 2010 homecoming football game will take place Friday, October 1, 2010, as the Golden Warriors take on the Streator Bulldogs at Roscoe Eades Stadium.
